The Longer the Book, the More You Save
You’ve written the book, you’re happy with the content, but something isn’t quite right. You know what you want each sentence to say, but for some reason the words are refusing to behave. Submitting your book for a copy-edit is a guaranteed way of raising the overall standard of your project (fiction or non-fiction), enhancing the quality and clarity of your vision, as well as highlighting areas where additional work may be needed.
With nearly ten years’ experience with unruly manuscripts, we have developed a strong reputation in the field and a long list of happy clients.
Our approach to copy-editing is to focus on inaccuracies and inconsistencies of style, tone, structure and content to enhance the clarity of your work while maintaining your unique writer’s voice. We will make changes at word and sentence level and offer suggestions for larger changes if necessary.
Every manuscript is read twice to ensure accuracy, consistency and precision.
The longer the book, the more you save.
We charge £6.90 per 1,000 words for the first 70,000 words of your book.
After 70,000 words, the rate drops to £5.50 per 1,000 words.
If your book is 100,000 words:
70,000 words @ £6.90 per 1,000 words = £483.00
30,000 words @ £5.50 per 1,000 words = £165.00
